Sewing Buttons To Bambi

Having recently dropped their third, and by far their most mature sounding album to date, Tokyo Police Club seem to have clinched their spot as Canada's Indie darlings. The new album, entitled Champ, seems to have been a slight departure for the band, featuring a more subdued and seemingly calculated approach to their songs; previous releases featured a more energetic approach full with clap-along choruses. This is not to say that Champ doesn't feature the same get up and dance mentality as the band's previous titles as is clearly evident with one listen to songs like "Wait Up (Boots of Danger)", "Bambi", and "Not Sick".

Only bigger and brighter things are in the cards for these guys, and one day they may be able to claim the title of Champions of the Canadian (and international) music scene.
